TOMBALL, TX – Pyxis Lab, Inc., a global provider of innovative water and process monitoring technologies, today announced that it has joined Halma*, a global group of technology companies united by a purpose to grow a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, everyday.
The move marks an important milestone in the growth of Pyxis and provides the company with additional resources, expertise, and global reach to accelerate investment in new technologies while preserving the entrepreneurial culture, customer focus, and commitment to innovation that have defined Pyxis since its founding.
A New Chapter. The Same Pyxis.
Pyxis will continue to operate as a standalone business, maintaining its existing team, products, customer support, and engineer-driven approach to product development.
For customers, distributors, suppliers, and partners, day-to-day operations will continue as usual.
What changes is the opportunity ahead.
As part of Halma, Pyxis will gain access to additional resources, expertise, and long-term support that can help accelerate product development, expand global capabilities, and increase investment in the technologies and people behind the Pyxis brand.
“Joining Halma gives us the opportunity to accelerate what we have already built,” said Matthew Mauch, Chief Executive Officer of Pyxis Lab, Inc. ” We chose Halma because they believe in Pyxis, our people, our technology, and the culture that has made us successful. We can remain who we are while gaining the resources and support to move faster, innovate more aggressively, and create even greater value for our customers around the world.”
Innovation Remains at the Center.
Since its founding, Pyxis has focused on developing practical, innovative technologies that solve real-world and process monitoring challenges. Joining Halma provides a long-term platform to build upon that mission.
Pyxis will become part of Halma’s Environmental & Analysis sector, which includes companies focused on addressing the impacts of climate change, pollution and waste, protecting critical resources, and supporting scientific research.
The alignment creates new opportunities for Pyxis to expand its capabilities and global reach while continuing to develop technologies for industrial water treatment, municipal water, process applications, data center liquid cooling, and other critical water quality applications.
The company’s commitment to rapid product development and close collaboration with customers will remain central to its strategy.
Same engineers. Same support team. Same obsession with solving customer problems. Now with more resources behind us.
Leadership and Operations.
As Pyxis enters this next chapter, Matthew Mauch will serve as President of the Global Pyxis Business, while Dr. Caibin Xiao will serve as Chief Technology Officer, allowing him to focus entirely on innovation, product development, and technology leadership.
The broader Pyxis leadership team will remain in place, providing continuity across the organization as the company moves forward.
Pyxis will also welcome Melissa Blashka as Chair of its Board, bringing extensive experience within Halma’s water portfolio to support the company’s continued growth.
Building What Comes Next.
Joining Halma is not a change in what made Pyxis successful. It is an opportunity to build upon it.
Pyxis will continue listening to customers, challenging conventional approaches, investing in new technologies, and developing solutions to difficult water and process monitoring challenges.
The team remains the same.
The products remain the same.
The commitment to customers remains the same.
What changes is the ability to move faster.
This is a new chapter for Pyxis – and we are excited to begin building what comes next.
NOTE:
Pyxis comprises three separate companies. Halma has acquired Pyxis Lab Inc. and Qipan Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., two of the three separate companies. Halma has further agreed to acquire the third smaller company, Pyxis Europe S.L.U., and this acquisition is expected to close shortly.
